The article focuses on digitization of public libraries in South Carolina to accept local collections. Topics discussed include the Digitization in a Box Project created by South Carolina State Library (SCSL) to address the needs of public libraries, partnership of SCDL with the South Carolina Digital Library and SCDL serving as the South Carolina Service Hub for the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA).
