The article reports on how the repiping of hydronic system increased the energy efficiency at the Energy Systems Integration Facility (ESIF) on the campus of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado. Chris Gaul, professional engineer (P.E.) says that the inner-workings of the ESIF itself are not a reinvention of the hydronic heating and cooling wheel.
