- Abstract:
Seeing at the rising number of road accidents mainly caused by the use of electronic gadgets, which distracts the attentions of drivers in the vehicle, a system is being developed by engineers at BMW Manufacturing Corp. and Robert Bosch Corp., funded partly by the German government, to help drivers cope with the increasing number of electronic devices in cars so as to avert such accident in near future. But it is awfully a difficult task to assess the driver's work load. Whatever may be the argument but the system if developed may seriously reduce the frequency road accidents. INSET: HOW DOES THE ATTENTION TRACKER WORK?.
