Examine Your Own Limits.

The article presents the author's views on the fear of art and the importance for artists to understand freedom of speech and the negative aspects of self-censorship as of March 2016. He states that art challenges artists' conventions and limits and can raise issues about subjects deemed taboo by the society. The efforts of New York-based New Museum of Contemporary Art to provide artists with a safe place for conversations are discussed as well as media coverage of culture. Also discussed are the factors that make censorship more complicated even in democratic countries.
