      The article reports on a seminar organized by PharmEvo Pakistan in Karachi, Pakistan in May 2016 where Doctor Asad Pathan of Tabba Heart Institute noted the effectiveness of angiotensin receptor blockers (ARB) and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors in treating hypertension after mycardial infraction as well as heart failure. Doctor Bill Jamil discussed the role of ARBs in chronic kidney disease, while Professor Tahir Hussain cited the drugs for reducing morbidity in hypertension.
