      The article reports on the performance of the U.S. beer market which is set to take some major changes with the pending merger of Leuven, Belgium-based manufacturer Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV (AB InBev) and London, England-based SABMiller PLC. The strong growth of the premium and super-premium sub-segments within the domestic beer market while sub-premium remains in contraction is tackled. The slowness of growth driven by large craft brands that have achieved a national footprint is explored.
