    • Abstract:
The article focuses on the ethics of changing the human genome and the challenges faced by researchers with the risks and benefits of gene editing. Topics discussed include gene editing is done faster and quicker with the clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat system (CRISPR/Cas9); and the system uses RNA to guide the Cas9 enzyme into the nucleus of a cell where CRISPR snips and repairs genetic mutations or adds genetic material.
