Cholestatic jaundice in newborn - practical diagnostic algorithm. (English)

Neonatal cholestasis is a condition commonly found in pediatric practice and is often a real diagnostic trap and thus conduct. Under the presence of clinical signs and/or laboratory cholestasis must be followed a protocol to identify the etiology in a short time and with minimal costs. Careful early evaluation (after the age of 14 days) is needed to establish the effective decisions in the management of cholestasis in newborns. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Colestaza neonatală este o afecţiune frecvent întâlnită în practica pediatrică şi reprezintă adesea o reală capcană de diagnostic şi, implicit, de conduită. În condiţiile prezenţei semnelor clinice şi/sau paraclinice de colestază trebuie urmat un protocol pentru identificarea etiologiei într-un timp cât mai scurt şi cu costuri minime.
