    • Abstract:
The article describes the medical case of a 76-year-old woman who presented with pseudoexfoliation glaucoma (PXG) oculus uterque (OU) that is treated with latanoprost. Topics include cataract surgery in the setting of PXF as challenging as PXF is associated with denser cataracts and prolonged postoperative inflammation. Also mentioned are suggestions for surgeons to take advantage of ophthalmic viscosurgical devices (OVDs) and to use mechanical and pharmacological pupillary dilation techniques.
