      El género Cedecea pertenece a la familia Enterobacteriaceae y comprende a bacilos Gram negativos, anaerobios facultativos, no formadores de esporas. No se ha dilucidado aun la importancia clínica de este género. Son escasos los casos clínicos reportados en humanos y animales. Este articulo tiene como objetivo describir el aislamiento de una cepa de Cedecea sp a partir de una muestra de piómetra en un canino con hemangiosarcoma y edad avanzada. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

      Gender Cedecea belongs to the Enterobacteriaceae family and comprises Gram negative, facultative anaerobic, non spore-forming bacilli. Clinical importance of this genre has not been elucidated. There are few clinical cases reported in humans and animals. This article aims to describe the isolation of a strain of Cedecea sp from a sample of pyometra in a canine with hemangiosarcoma of older age. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
