The article discusses German American homeowners of Yaphank, Long Island, New York Philip Kneer and Patricia Flynn-Kneer's lawsuit against the community organization the German American Settlement League for alleged discriminatory housing practices. An overview of the support in Yaphank for German Nazism during the late 1930s and early 1940s is provided. An overview the League's President Robert Kessler's attitudes towards the League's rules on home sales is provided.
