    • Abstract:
The article deals with a study which found that Great Britain cannot use the abolition of tuition fees in Germany as a model because the higher education systems in the two nations significantly differ from each other. According to Higher Education Policy Institute director Nick Hillman, the German experience does not offer an off-the-shelf solution. Hillman explains the comparison between the two nations in terms of university funding and cost of expanding undergraduate numbers.
