      The article focuses on the Freedom Charter project led by Rafif Jouejati that trained grassroots activists in conducting interviews of 50,333 Syrians across the country about what they want from Syria in the future. Topics include risks for interviewers from extremist groups and findings including the wish for peace, dignity, equality for all Syrians and freedom to practice religion. Also mentioned is the establishment of the Foundation to Restore Equality and Education in Syria (FREE-Syria).
