The article offers information on the new bacteria identification technique developed by the researchers at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Daejeon, South Korea. It states that the technique, which was based on Fourier-transform light scattering allows identification of a single bacterium. It adds that the strategy also requires using a linear discriminant analysis (LDA) software model to classify bacterium species.
