      The article presents an overview on the Budapest Open Access Initiative, which support for open access services for libraries and other public information services in Canada by the nonprofit organization Canada Library Association (CLA). Topics discussed include the concept of open access information, the factors of quality information for end user of research and the Canadian copyright law. The article also explores the changes to the form of author processing charges (APC).
