- Abstract:
The article discusses the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign of U.S. senator and avowed socialist Bernie Sanders as he campaigned in Iowa in mid-2015. The author presents his thoughts concerning the ideology of Sanders and whether his campaign is advancing the precepts of national socialism, and the rhetoric Sanders employs in his campaign speeches against capitalism. The author also states that Sanders's rhetoric mirrors that of 2016 U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.
