      The article presents a case study of a 35-year-old man with weakness of all four limbs and blurred vision along with a medical history of chronic alcoholism. Topics discussed include performance of bilateral putamen central hyperdensity with surrounding oedema, diagnosis of methanol intoxication, bicarbonate and ethanol and performance of computed tomography.
