- Abstract:
The article looks into the impact of the inclusion of people with learning disabilities in policies without understanding their special needs. Topics include the possibility that the inclusion may foster professional intolerance and division, promotion of the growth of a propaganda industry, and the unresponsiveness and insensitivity of an inflexible service. It also discusses the marketization of social care, financial vulnerability, and the need to educate people on learning disabilities.
