Topics discussed include the influx of German immigrants, emboldened by land grants and fertile land, in the 19th century, and the birth of Navy Admiral Chester W. Nimitz who was appointed as Commander in Chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet during World War II. The construction of the National Museum of the Pacific War is also mentioned.
