      The article discusses stories circulated concerning the existence of female werewolves, also called lycanthropes, terrorizing the Duchy of Jülich, Germany, in 1591. According to the article, an account of the attacks was published in a broadsheet by publisher Georg Kress in 1591 in what was called Augsburg. The article also discusses an account of the actions of a werewolf known as Stubbe Peter, also called Peter Stumpp in 1589.
