The article presents a study which aims to examine the use of health promoting (HP) behaviors and self-efficacy to control the recurrence of cancer among low-income survivors. Information regarding the study's conceptual framework, data gathering and analysis, are mentioned. Result shows that low-income cancer survivors are more engaged in HP behaviors such as physical activity, nutrition, and stress management as compared to other patient survivors.
