      The article discusses the cultural diffusion of aspects American popular culture into Czechoslovakian, or Czech, parodies in literature, film and popular culture during the Interwar Period, from 1918 through 1940. An overview of the Czech "Limonádový Joe aneb Koňská opera/Softdrink Joe or a Horse Opera," directed by Oldřich Lipský is presented.
