      El propósito del presente trabajo es identificar los problemas de salud que se presenta en la población que está dentro del proceso del fenómeno migratorio México-Estados Unidos, aquellos que migran de manera estacional o permanente y los que participan quedándose en la comunidad de origen, desde cada uno de los momentos por los que atraviesan, de la partida, durante el traslado y a la llegada, así como los riesgos a lo que se enfrentan, las causas y las principales enfermedades que padecen. Con la intención de brindar un panorama acerca de las necesidades que experimentan los migrantes y con esto, se puedan diseñar estrategias orientadas a disminuir las problemáticas de salud, al desarrollo de programas de intervención que favorezcan la salud y estrategias para prevenir la enfermedad.
