      An essay is presented on the relationship between the game of ping-pong and writing together or simultaneous writing. Topics covered include the similarities between the game of ping-pong and writing together, the problems attached to writing together and the greatest impediment to true ping-pong. Also discussed are the abilities needed for theoretical works on musical pieces for four hands.
