Wando Mount Pleasant — Join us for the latest installment in the Metropolitan Opera’s 2022–23 Live in HD season with the all-new opera, The Hours.

Star soprano Renée Fleming returns to the Met alongside Kelli O’Hara and Joyce DiDonato in the world-premiere production of composer Kevin Puts’s The Hours, adapted from Michael Cunningham’s novel.

Inspired by Virginia Woolf’s Mrs. Dalloway and the Oscar-winning 2002 film version of the novel, the story follows three women from different eras who grapple with their inner demons and their roles in society.

The Hours contains themes of suicide. If you or someone you know is considering self-harm or suicide, help is available from the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988 or visiting 988lifeline.org.
