The article examines the use of personal drones in the U.S. and profiles individuals, inventors, and entrepreneurs who are involved in the personal drone industry. Individuals profiled include Jordi Muñoz, Brandon Basso, and Chris Anderson of the company 3D Robotics, Chance Roth of Brain Corporation, and Andrew Petersen and Eric Maloney, who use drones in cinematography. The involvement of the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration in regulating drone use is also mentioned.
