- Abstract:
The article reports a study on the rapid administration of large volumes of soybean oil micelles as an effective perfusion fluid, considering that greater solubility of oxygen in lipids compared to water, would improve oxygen loading. The results revealed that soybean oil emulsions were better than other fluids in maintaining the blood pressure, the soybean oil-containing micelles could be used to replace blood loss and that nitric oxide was carried by the micelles.
