    • Abstract:
The author reflects on a court case where Mr. and Mrs. Farraj sued King's Healthcare NHS Trust (KCH) and Cytogenetic DNA Services Ltd. (CSL) for medical errors. He says that the chorionic villus sample (CVS) of beta thalassaemia major (BTM) carrier Mrs. Farraj was first submitted to KCH to determine whether her unborn child also suffers from BTM. Then, it was sent to CSL leading to the misinformation of the result. Moreover, he elaborates the basis of the court's decision to also blame KCH.
