- Abstract:
The article focuses on the history of Christianity in Asia. The author argues that most Christian church histories focus on the Western churches of Europe and the Middle East. However, during the 11th century, one-third of the world's Christians lived in Asia as a religious minority in countries including China, India, and Persia. The spread of Christianity followed the Silk Route. Christianity in Asia faltered in the 13th century with the Mongol invasions.
