    • Abstract:
The article explains the impact of the modern atheism on the Catholic Church that has always embraced the need for authoritative church structures. According to priest and writer Michael Buckley, all forms of modern atheism, which signifies that there is God, are parasitic upon a particular form of theism. The author suggests that Catholics must resist channeling their frustration to the attacks of atheists into vicious counterattacks.
