- Abstract:
The article builds the proposition that the execution of a law should be bound to moral duty. The author argues that the U.S. Constitution supports the use of religious faith by judges. For instance, taking a false oath is a violation of the Second Commandment, which denounces any act that takes the name of the God in vain. This paper also demonstrates how religious faith can help judges obey lawful authority.
