The article focuses on the notion of Czechoslovakia as a bourgeois nation and its influence towards the end of the Second World War. It talks about the result of the Yalta talks regarding the future of small European countries and the existence of a Great Powers' accord on defining the spheres of influence in Europe. Talks concerning the creation of two post-war confederations, namely Czechoslovak-Polish and Yugoslav-Greek, and an analysis of Soviet policy in Europe in August 1944 are discussed.
