    • Abstract:
The article reports on the procedures involved in turbine maintenance and operation. It included overall vibration and temperature measurements wherein detection could be observed when rotors begin to rub the seal, offset alignment and set of bolts left loose. 40-50% of equipment malfunctions are related to poor operational practices while 70% of machine failures are blamed to human error.
