CT pair charged after suspected abuse left child with rib fractures, other injuries

Two people face charges in connection with the suspected abuse of a Bristol child who suffered more than a dozen rib fractures and other injuries. Rebeccalyn Tortora, 28, of Bristol and Michael Tortora, 32, of Wolcott were both arrested last Thursday and charged with one felony count of risk of injury to a child, according to the Bristol Police Department.
