- Abstract:
The article profiles Jack Newman, a gold treasure hunter who had an accident in Alaska. Together with his companions and their animals had tumbled with screeches and moans down the side of the summit into the vast mouth of the deep and rocky gulch below it. A bronze plaque has been made in memory of him, his companions, and their animals.
