The article deliberates whether God has a feminine side. In the Hebrew bible, the concept of the spirit has a feminine characteristic. According to Christian feminist theologian Rosemary Radford Ruether, the description used for God were made by men and any feminine characteristics were rejected outright. In the Bible, passages likening God and Jesus to a woman were found.
