This paper studies rhyme and its sound stucture of Husseini lamentation poetry in Iraq for the fixed period . Rhyme plays an important role in the linguistic phonetic study of poetry . It is considered as the basic pillar on which the Arabic poem is construted . The importance and role of rhyme is crystallized by the active role it perfroms in froming music rhythm and the indicative effect produced by it which is harmonized with verse content. The topic of rhyme and its sound structure have been studied in two aspects. The first is represented by the rhyme sound and the second by the inflection of the rhyme sound . [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
