    • Abstract:
Morocco, a small country with a long history, is home to many cities and towns, each with its own ambience, style, architecture, and crafts. The Moroccan cities of Rabat, Fez, Marrakech, and Meknès, founded as imperial capitals, continue to serve as political, spiritual, and historical centers. A bustling, complex city that has been coveted and conquered by almost every power that has traversed the Mediterranean world, Tangier, Morocco, is the gateway to Morocco. Rabat is the royal city and capital of Morocco. Morocco's largest city, Casablanca is a teeming, vibrant metropolis of about 3.2 million residents.
