      Uzbek TV's First Channel on 17 January broadcast a documentary entitled "Treason" featuring an Uzbek court case in which Tajik citizens were convicted of espionage. The film said that some Tajik officials were damaging the centuries-old neighbourly traditions between the Uzbek and Tajik peoples. The documentary said that "hostile actions that some high-ranking officials in the neighbouring country are carrying out towards our country are damaging the centuries-old tradition of neighbourliness.....
