The article discusses the importance of safety culture to prevent fatalities and accidents within the organizations in the U.S. It offers several ways to promote industrial safety including to follow the safety procedures, to behave based on personal survival instinct and risk tolerance and to achieve production goals. It also cites the employer's commitment to promote employee's protection in the workplace.
