      The article reports that researchers examined eggs from prehistoric sites in China where eggs from Oviraptor dinosaurs had been laid millions of years ago and discovered the pigment molecules biliverdin and protoporphyrin, pigments found in many birds' eggs, suggesting dinosaur eggs were colored.
