      El objeto de este trabajo se centra en recordar, rememorar, revivir y ensalzar a este jurista y su obra. Y se hace destacando, profundizando, analizando -en suma investigando-la sobresaliente obra de derecho procesal referida al proceso penal español de Enrique Aguilera de Paz que coincide con el primer decenio del S. XX. Es en esa década 1900-1910 en la que surge y a partir de la que se desarrolla en Italia el derecho procesal «científico». Creo necesario -como afirmo en el título-enlazar, unir y empalmar la persona, su obra y el momento histórico en que vive y la publica. De no hacerlo así el resultado de este trabajo carecería de la adecuada proyección histórica y científica y también de la base jurídica, social y política que justifica esa década.       The object of this work centres on remembering, on recalling, on reliving and exalt to this jurist and his work. And it is done standing out, penetrating, analyzing -in sum investigating- the excellent work of procedural law referred to Enrique Aguilera de Paz's Spanish penal process that coincides with the first decade of the twentieth century. It is in this decade 1900-1910 in the one that arose and from the one that developed in Italy the «scientific» procedural law. I believe necessarily -as I affirm in the title- to connect, joins and to come together the person, his work and the historical moment in which he lived and he published it. Of it not be making like that by the result of this work he would lack the suitable historical and scientific projection and also the legal, social and political base that justified this decade.
