Author Talk with Scott Poole

Hurd/St. Andrews Regional Library - Scott Poole will discuss his book, "Wasteland: The Great War and the Origins of Modern Horror." His talk will focus on how soldiers' and civilians' experience of the Great War created a dark vision of the world in film, art and literature. This program is recommended for history buffs and horror movie fans alike. Dr. Poole’s book will be available for purchase at this event, and proceeds will go to CCPL’s Friends of the Library.
