Celebrate Read Across America, March 1

Read Across America 2013

Read Across America is a national celebration that promotes reading to children and is held each year on Dr. Seuss' birthday. Many branches incorporated a Dr. Seuss theme into their regular storytimes, while some will present "celebrity" readers, familiar from TV, radio, sports teams and more. Other branches are holding after school programs. However you choose to celebrate the legacy of the late, great Dr. Seuss, you are sure to have memorable time!

Programs are free, but space is limited. Contact your neighborhood library to arrange attendance for your group today!
