The beat is back at the library! Join us for a toe-tapping, hand-clapping concert by kids, for kids!

Devone Gary in Concert – Hip-Hop Jazz for Kids
Tuesday, September 28 at 9:15 and 10:30 a.m.
Charleston’s own jazz musician Devone Gary, will delight audiences with his modern and unique jazz styling of hip hop hits. Get up and dance as he brings out the rhythm in all of us.

Swahili Workshop – Language and Stories
Wednesday, September 29 at 9:15 and 10:30 a.m.
Join us for an exciting program on the language of Swahili. Learn how Swahili is used in the United States and learn some greetings and introductions. Enjoy music and stories too!

The Plantation Singers

Feel the music and soul as the Plantation Singers captivate audiences with their songs of the Gullah culture and the sacred music of South Carolina’s Lowcountry.
