Public Computer Use
Computers are available for public use at each branch location and the Bookmobile. Available software includes the full suite of Microsoft Office 2013 programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access, as well as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Picasa, Windows Media Player and more. Windows 7 is the current operating system for the public PCs.
Computer use is monitored by a reservation system. Customers are allowed two hours of computer time each day on the public computers, and this time can be broken into as many sessions as needed. Computer users must have a valid CCPL library card or a daily guest pass to log in. Click here for more information about computer reservations.
Copying and Scanning
Black and white copying and printing is available at all CCPL locations for $0.10 per page. Color copying and printing is available at all locations for $0.25 per page. Customers and guests can also scan printed files to a USB flash drive or email the file free of charge.
Free Wi-Fi is available at all CCPL locations and the Bookmobile during open hours. Users must accept the on-screen "Internet Use Agreement" before using the service. The Wi-Fi service will become unavailable 15 minutes prior to closing.
